At Cheval Rouge, we’re proud to announce the completion of our largest transaction to date: The successful acquisition of all assets belonging to Proof & Company Australia, purchased as part of the administration process.
This milestone marks the culmination of more than three months of meticulous work. Our team catalogued and reviewed a vast inventory, from bottled premium spirits and bulk stock to trade marketing materials, glassware, and specialised bar equipment. Now, we’re moving into the exciting second phase: placing over 300 SKUs — spanning everything from award-winning rum, gin, cognac, and tequila to first-pour spirits, luxury glassware, and gift packs — into the hands of new distributors and retail partners.
Building New Pathways for Premium Brands
The process of rehoming these exceptional products has already seen some exciting developments:
Maison Ferrand – We’ve partnered with Adam Trewin and the team at Vanguard Luxury Brands to integrate a selection of Maison Ferrand’s acclaimed rums and gins into their portfolio. This means many beloved products are already back in stock for Australian retailers and venues.
Mancino Vermouth – We’ve transitioned distribution to Australia Wine and Spirits, a new venture led by Daniel Airoldi DipWSET, who is continuing to build an exceptional portfolio of premium spirits and aperitifs.
True Believers – This innovative producer is moving to in-house distribution for Australia, ensuring their distinctive range of vodka, gin, and agave spirits reaches venues directly.
